Chapter 1
2   3   4   5

Located in Sunflower County, Mississippi; Dockery may be small, but a huge part of history known as the birthplace of the Blues. It is also the birthplace of Sebastian Wicker.

His only friend, in those days, was a boy, whom Austin believed was born for a reason.  His name was Sebastian, but his grandmother called him Daniel or Danny. Lord only knows where that came from.

The two of them were twelve years old, and mature little men, more so than children. There were not many girls around their age and the few boys, they knew, were scattered mostly on farms around Sunflower County.

Sebastian was black, and Austin a white boy. That never made a lick of difference. They were just boys, rather good-natured and better at being bad, than perfect.

By the time, the boys were fourteen years old; Sebastian’s parents left Mississippi and moved to Arizona.  After that, Austin was alone with a treasure chest of memories. Every memory included Sebastian and his family.

****************

Austin sat on the porch of the small country home he inherited from his parents. Everyone was gone now and Austin, in his forties, was alone.  Oh, he had a couple of friends, but nobody he felt particularly close to.

The porch had massive heavy vines reaching clear to the roof. His dad used to keep them trimmed so as not to block the view, but the view never concerned Austin. There he sat, camouflaged behind a forest of vines.

Those thoughts keep rumbling through Austin’s mind thinking about growing up in the south. Behind him now, those times no longer seemed important.

However, years ago, they made an impression on him, like throwing a cherry bomb into an open field, just for the noise and seeing the tall grass part.

Time passed, and whenever Austin wanted to feel good, he would think about Sabastian and his mama, who baked the best sweet potato pie in Dockery.  Gosh, she was a wonderful woman. She belonged to a knitting circle where his own mother was a member.

****************

A beat up Chevy truck pulled onto Austin’s property and stopped next to the porch where Austin was sitting drinking a cup of cocoa. Fairly hidden behind the vines, he missed very little from his secluded hiding place.

Elsa Suderry, a black widow woman in her early fifties, and the closest neighbor to Austin, would come visiting with some ridiculous request. It became more of an annoyance, than a pleasure. However, that was life in Dockery, and Austin was used to it.

You might know driving the truck was Elsa; no doubt needing her waffle iron or her radio fixed.  Austin could fix just about anything, and it seemed entertaining to complain about it, but never in public.

“Mister Austin, how you be doin today,” babbled Elsa, stepping from the truck and coming to the porch.

“Just fine, Queen Elsa, how about you?

“Oh, I am good. Say, I am on my way to the market and wondered if I can bring you something from the store. No need for us both going?”

“I am set and did some shopping yesterday. Now, tell me why you really stopped to see me.”

“Hee, hee, hee, - you sure are a clever one,” stated Elsa. “What are you drinking?”

“Cocoa with marshmallows.”

“Are you crazy? It is hotter than a dog in heat and you be drinkin hot cocoa.

“Yep, I like chocolate. Do you want some?”

“Got any ice tea?” she asked.

“It’s in the refrigerator, go help yourself. You know where everything is.”

Elsa returned with a tall glass of tea with ice cubes tapping the side of the glass. In her hand, she was munching on a piece of cornbread that she took from a pan sitting on top of the stove.

She plunked herself down next to Austin, in the only rocking chair on the porch. “Dang, it sure is hot.” She mumbled slurping some of the tea.

“You’re in Mississippi darlin; it’s always hot in July.” said Austin.

“I’ve been admiring that Honey Locust tree growing by the side of your house. It is a beauty,” she commented.

“Thanks.”

“Got any slips?” she asked.

“Any what?”

“I believe you white folk’s call them sucker shoots growing at the base of the tree, but you know what I mean.”

“Yes - There are some, go dig a couple out, if you want them.”

“Ohh, I do and I will get them, but later. I want to wait for it to get cooler tonight or early tomorrow morning.  I have a young child helping me with outside work, and he will come and dig them out after he gets the spot dug by my house for replanting.”

“Tell him to dig a chunk of roots and use plenty of water. You can’t let the roots go dry before they are put in the ground.”  Austin reminded her.

“He’s plenty smart. That won’t happen. Do you want me to let you know when he is coming, so you know who be digging in your yard?”

“Naw, I’ll know; not a problem. This child isn’t a little boy, is he? I don’t need some kid destroying my tree,” said Austin.

“Ha ha-ha, - No, he is in his twenties, (maybe thirty). I call all the young-ins ‘child.’ Maybe you even know him.”

Elsa brought the empty glass back into the house, and placed it in the kitchen sink. Five minutes later, the truck roared black smoke backing up and she was gone. “Yeow, that truck is burning oil like crazy, '' mumbled Austin, talking to himself.

The following morning, the sun had barely risen, and already another torrid day, there was no mistaking that. Air conditioning was everywhere, although the old timers still used electric fans. If you were attending a church service, or sitting through a funeral, folks were constantly fanning themselves.  You’re in Mississippi now.

Austin stretched out in bed, letting his long legs run over the bottom of the sheets. It was common for him to let his mind wander. He had been dreaming and woke up in agony. A trip to the bathroom and a generous pee usually took care of that, at least temporarily.

Outside a man was digging by the locust tree and removing sucker shoots. He placed them in a bucket containing shallow water covering the roots.

Austin worked frantically putting on his clothes to go outside to check on what he was doing. By the time he had his shoes tied, the digging was over. The ground raked clean, and the person in Elsa’s truck was ready to leave.

Everything happened so fast. Austin was outside just in time to wave a sign of approval, as a short toot came from the truck, and it was gone.

Elsa was not joking about digging and planting before the sun scorched the afternoon with Mississippi heat. Lying by the tree on the ground, Elsa's shovel was forgotten and carelessly left there.

“Uh-huh, he forgot the shovel. He will be back anytime now. He’ll remember where he left it,” thought Austin.

Austin turned around and went back inside. He considered having breakfast, but instead flopped down on top of the bed for another hour of sleep.

To think about all this outside stuff is exhausting. “Yeah, yeah, Austin old boy, save it for somebody who will swallow that crap.”

He rolled on to his right side and fell asleep.

Chapter 2
1   3   4   5

Austin awoke to the sound of a truck in his driveway. He went outside in time to see the truck backing up and leaving. It was not coming, as Austin suspected; it was going.

The shovel belonging to Elsa, his neighbor, was gone from where he left it leaning against the locust tree.

“Common sense is common sense,” he thought. “With all this coming and going, like a panther in the dark, I’m not sure what the hell is going on around here.”

It was never clear, why he thought that way because he knew very well, the shovel belonged to Elsa. However, he was uncomfortable with people he didn’t know, roaming around close to his house.

Elsa lived a half mile away with a walking trail connecting the two properties. Austin used the trail often for hiking and running. It was safer than running along the road dodging small town farmers, who paid little attention, to the rules of the road.

When Austin drove into Elsa’s driveway, she was standing by the road with a rake in her hand.

“I knew you would be showin up about now. I got some lemonade chill-in and some fried chicken, cause you are staying for lunch and you gotta meet Daniel. Ohh, you gonna like Daniel. He is Sebastian’s boy, and there is no forgetting a child. Like Sebastian.”

Austin took the rake from Elsa’s hand and tossed it into the back of his pickup.  “Get in, sweet mama, and I will drive you back to the house.”

They sat in the truck with air conditioning, but Austin made no effort to move.

“I know you want me to tell you about Daniel, ‘cause I see the questions on your face.”  Then with the smug laugh, that she was famous for; Elsa folded her arms and said –“so there!”

“When Sebastian was fourteen,” she continued, “his mama moved the family to Phoenix, Arizona, where they could live rent free with her sister on a cattle ranch.

“I remember,” said Austin. That was the last time I saw Sebastian,” he exclaimed.

At seventeen, Sebastian went into the army, and sent to Afghanistan. He never came home.  While driving a truck, he hit a roadside bomb.”

“I know, and cried for months.”

“Did you know, when he died, he left a son two years old in Phoenix?”

“I don’t believe that.”

“You better believe it. The baby was two years old and raised by his grandmother.  She calls the child Danny.”

Danny is Sebastian’s boy. Oh lord, and such a beautiful child, smart like his daddy.”

“Ohh, that was so long ago,” commented  Austin.

“This is a come to Jesus moment, so don’t lose your cookies Austin, I’m telling you this is gospel.

Austin lived déjà vu, as situations happened where he felt he had been there before with Sebastian. It was always with Sebastian. Here’s why…

They were extensions of one another, even at the tender age of twelve, or maybe it was thirteen. They were adolescents who loved each other, never realizing what those feelings meant. Now he had to deal with his son.

Without another word, he started the truck and drove to Elsa’s house where Danny was watering the newly planted Locust sprouts taken from Austin’s tree. Austin’s heart sunk and he could feel a rise in his blood pressure.

**********************

The three of them stood in the driveway talking but saying nothing of importance.  Austin was fixated on Danny’s face trying to pull it from it the ghost of Sebastian. It wasn’t difficult, because Daniel looked like a mature version of his teenage father. In addition, he spoke the same way Austin remembered his childhood soul mate speaking.

“Why are you staring at me? Did I do something wrong on your property?”

“Heavens no, I was your dad’s best friend, and you look so much like him. I don’t mean to stare but I am beside myself. Can I hug you?” asked Austin.

“Sure – don’t look Elsa, this is a guy thing,” said Daniel laughing. He was comical just the way Sebastian acted at seventeen.

“Lord, go be hanging on one another for all I care. I am going to put some corn in boiling water for lunch.” She went into the house with the screen door slamming closed behind her.

“You probably have a gazillion questions,” said Daniel.

“I do, but I am not going to ask you anything. The past is past, and I have relived so much of it for so long, that it is time to close a tired old book.”

“A-huh, I don’t know what you are talking about, but it sounds good.”

Danny was resting his body against a rail fence that ran along the side of the back yard. Without hesitation, Austin leaned in and put his arms around him giving an affectionate hug. He remained there longer than the typical hug, holding on to Danny’s face. Then he planted a simple kiss on his cheek.

“Whew, that was some hug big daddy,” he joked.  “And the kiss – you should work on that, going around kissing men.”

“Sorry Danny, I got carried away. It was like being with Sebastian again. Forgive a dirty old man for being stupid.”

“Ahh, that’s not stupid,” Danny replied. “Say, I have a question?”

“Go ahead and ask. Nobody is stopping you.”

“Did you and my daddy go around kissing each other? I know you were just kids, but did you do that?”

“Let me show you something,” replied Austin poking through his wallet looking for a picture. “Aha, here it is.”

It was an old photo of Sebastian and Austin sitting side by side in a photo booth at the Sunshine Fair. The photo was so old, it was frayed around the edges. Sebastian had his arm around Austin and their faces were touching. They were both smiling gigantic smiles and showed nothing but teeth.  It was then they kissed, just clowning around for the picture. We didn’t see anything wrong wanting to be close; but not in public for fear of being called sissies.

“Cool,” was all Danny said. “My dad was Sebastian, a kid himself, when I was born. He went into the army at seventeen, I was already two year old, and so I never knew him.  My grandmother raised me, saying I was a spitting image of him. I am twenty seven years old now and feel like forty.”

“I’m forty two.

“You look thirty two,” replied Danny.

“Yeah, I’ve got miles to make up. I’ll race you to the house.”

“Run if you want to. This boy is tired. I have been digging all morning.”

Austin giggled, and put his arm around Danny, then quickly removed it.

“Don’t you be kissin me now.” giggled Danny. It was a dumb comment and nothing came of it.

After lunch, Austin and Elsa looked at the Locust shoots taken from his tree. Danny had already left and gone home.

“So, say something. I know you want to,” said Elsa.

“They look great. He did fine job spacing, well-watered and mulched.”

“Ha – he should. Daniel is a landscaper working at Denzin’s Garden Center.

“I didn’t know that,” replied Austin.

“There is a lot you don’t know, about that boy. He is special.”

“I think that is right. Happy memories from innocent times…”

Chapter 3
1   2   4   5

Daniel lived with his grandmother, Sebastian’s mom. Austin remembered her sweet potato pie and it brought back memories just being alive.

With Dockery being rural, the clamor of a big northern city was missing. The BLM demands were theatre of the mind, not enduring in Dockery.

There are stretches of open farmland with homes and fields scattered about, welcoming folks to the 20th state to join the union. Dockery is a chunk of Americana basking in the pride of today’s south.

Austin worked, three days a week at Southern Bancorp Bank, in Drew Mississippi. The rest of the time, he worked from home as a computer programmer. The work was not demanding, and often boring. He hated admitting such a thing because he so wanted to be needed for his technical skills.

Along with his income, he received a monthly disbursement from his dead parent’s estate. It sounds fancy, but meager. Much of his income he saved and it went into a retirement account at the bank where he worked.  He had saved cash for years, and by now, fairly well off and comfortable.

Austin knew about the Denzin’s Garden Center. It was a family business and part of their farm, selling plants, including annuals, some shrubs and a few simple trees barely rooted. Daniel helped there, moving stuff around and planting stock for customers, who requested assistance. That was his idea of being a landscaper, and folks loved him for always pitching in with work.

There is not a lot of money exchanged in Dockery. Many times one helps a neighbor receiving a bunch of carrots, a couple of chickens or a good meal in lieu of payment. It may not be everything, but it is more than adequate, and folks are happy.

Time allows people to be themselves, and that leads to a great deal of pride.  Daniel spent days considering Austin lived in Mississippi for a reason. He hoped he would come to the garden center, but it didn’t happen.

********************

It was Sunday and Austin drove past Elsa’s property where Danny was moving her lawn. It was a sprawling area made easy with a riding mower. Most people in Dockery owned riding mowers. The lawns were too vast to walk with a push mower, so folks didn’t do it.

“Yeow,” thought Austin, “there is Danny. I should stop and talk to him.” However, he didn’t do that. Instead, he tooted, waved, and drove on to his house.

He sat on his porch trying to watch Danny cutting the grass, but he was too far away and nothing was going right. He went into the house to ‘jerk off’ in order to calm down. It was common for him to do that. His right hand had become his best friend, having no one person to love.

Austin, looking younger than his forty-two years, was San Francisco eye candy, leaving nothing skimpy to criticize.  His body was hard, trim, and blushed with sandy brown hair around his pecs and a mysterious patch of fur leading to his crotch. A hot looking man with great teeth, and a biting butt, pretty much said it all.

He placed his hand on the bump between his legs, to waken his sleeping playmate, already twitching. This wouldn’t take him long, he was so horny.

The zipper came down with a knock on the door, at the same time. Back up the zipper went.

When Austin opened the door, Danny was standing there with a sack of potatoes in his hand.

“Elsa sent these potatoes from her garden to you.” He said. “Are you busy?”

“Nah, I was just about to whack off, but it can wait.”

“You’re joking!”

“Yeah, I’m joking,” replied Austin feeling like a fool.

“I wanted to see you,” mumbled Danny.

“Me too, do you have a day where you can cut my grass? I wish you would work for me,” said Austin.

“Sure! I thought you were annoyed at me when I said; ‘Don’t kiss me,’ because that was the last time we were together. You know I was joking.”

“Come here.” Austin beckoned with open arms.

Danny walked into his arms and Austin kissed his neck, then his cheek, followed by a kiss on the lips. Danny trembled putting his arms around Austin’s neck. His dick began rising in his pants as Austin pushed into him.  It was mutual, Austin was now hard and his junk pressed against Danny’s crotch. Danny didn’t pull away, but talked and surprised him.

“You are going to like having me around, I’ve got a big dick,”

“I didn’t ask you that,” replied Austin.

“I am just sayin, maybe we should do the nasty,” astounding Austin.

“Maybe you should cut the grass.”

“Okay - I will, but I am not Sebastian. I am way more fun than Sebastian. I don’t care if you pay me or not. Can you handle that?”

Daniel was no boy. He was young man, (soon to be twenty eight) with a solid body, satin smooth chocolate brown skin, sporting black curls of hair on his chest and legs. His face was good-looking with a mouthful of white teeth that Austin felt like running his fingers over. He loved Danny’s mouth.

Daniel wasn’t kidding about his dick. It looked big, packed on the side of his leg. Looking at him Austin became hungry as a bear after hibernation, alive and seeking for something to eat.

“I have Monday free. Suppose I come by and I’ll cut your grass.”

“That is tomorrow - Deal,” was all Austin could say.

“Remember, I am not Sebastian, what are you thinking?” remarked Daniel.

“I've watched Twilight zone reruns, never learning a thing that was real. I know you are not Sebastian.  It’s a foolish way to sound clever.  It’s not that easy to explain, but I am really comfortable with you.”

“Whew! I didn’t see that coming,” said Daniel; but then, you are mature and smarter than me.

“Not all that much. It’s only words.”

“And I just heard them. Let’s get beyond that. I am Daniel Wicker, the person you need to be thinking about.”

“Let’s leave it at that. What we need, is to become friends.”

“Kissing friends?”

“Sure – kissing friends.” replied Austin.

Danny, put his arms around Austin once more and ran his lips over his face. He kissed him becoming the aggressor and very much in control. Things were happening minute by minute.

“I have to go.” Danny whispered.

“Don’t leave yet,” moaned Austin.”

Danny was a smart young man, and knew he had Austin, about to adore him, it was just that easy,

Austin knew it too, and it didn’t bother him in the least. He was sex starved and Daniel was the best thing to come along in years. He had a lot to give and knew just where to put it.

“I really have to go. My grandmother is waiting for me to take her to church for an afternoon service.”

“Yes, go then, that is more importin,” agreed Austin.

Danny stood in the open doorway. “About whacking off - forget about it. I will be here tomorrow.”  Then, after a sexy wink, he was gone.

Austin was leaking; he felt sticky, but ignored it and waited for everything to go back to sleep.  Danny was hot, and he felt selfish wanting everything, from Danny’s face to his junk.  For the next forty-eight hours, smooth brown skin was all Austin could think about. He no longer wandered in the unknown. It was a “Come to Jesus moment.”

Chapter 4
1   2   3   5

Austin although energized, couldn’t maneuver successfully between his brain and his crotch.  His dick was at a new level of crazy. His body was reacting to something very real. Viagra had nothing to do it. He tried hour after hour to behave normally, instead of fluttering like a schoolgirl. As he walked around the house, he began talking to himself. “Why, all this nutty nonsense, act your age.”

The talk he gave himself seemed to help. He felt better convincing his brain, not to be foolish.  He was too smart, to be stupid. Excellence has a way of speaking for itself, and that was that.

About four miles away, Danny was talking to his grandmother about a crush he had on an older white man in Dockery. She knew Daniel was gay and lonely. She listened intently with no intention of correcting him.

“I really like him Gram, and I know he likes me.”

“Child, I have seen such things and it’s not bad. In fact, it can be good. I wouldn’t like this goin on in Detroit or Chicago. Those northern blacks are not like us southern folks down here. Racist, everything is racist.”

“I know that.”

“How old is this man? I hope he’s not feeble,” laughed his grandmother.

“He’s good-looking and far from feeble.” Danny assured her giggling.

“Maybe you should be sending him to granny. I could use me a good man; but I don’t know about white. I love my blacks,” she commented.

“It’s Austin,” admitted Daniel.”

“Lord Child, he must be forty.”

“He’s forty two and fifteen years older than me. I’m almost twenty eight.”

”That’s not unheard of; just don’t be running off to California, with the weird folks in that place. I would lose my child for sure.”

“No, gram, I won’t be going anyplace. I am a Mississippi boy.”

“Hee, hee, hee, I hear that,” replied his grandmother.

**********

The following morning, Austin did what every man does. He showered, long and hard wanting to be clover fresh. He avoided aftershave and sweet smelling cologne. He would rather be natural than artificial smelling. His body was rugged and beautifully tanned.  He put on beige shorts but no underwear. A simple short sleeve shirt covered his virile chest.

There was no sign of Danny, but it was still early. Austin watched the morning news on television. His mind was clear and not thinking about anything special. Actually, he was tired and didn’t sleep well the night before.

The day was warm and getting hotter with each passing hour. He heard the sound of the mower running outside; Danny was already mowing his lawn. He never came to the house, but went into the barn and got the mower to start working.

Danny was wearing grey shorts with no shirt only sneakers on his feet. His chest was bare and already moist. His Hershey skin looked almost naked and it ‘rocked’ Austin looking at him.

Daniel’s butt bounced around on the mower seat with the globes of his ass, and legs moving back and forth flushed with furry tuffs of black hair. It kept Austin glued to the window.

“Jesus, “thought Austin. “Lord, don’t fail me now.”

Austin went into his bedroom and flopped down on top of his bed. This was something he did almost every day as a means of hiding from himself. He wasn’t hiding now, he simply needed a break from falling in love and it was happening to him faster with Daniel, than he ever imagined.

Lying on the bed was not the answer to anything, and two seconds later, he was back on his feet, and looking out the window again. Danny was heading back to the barn with the mower. That meant he was finished cutting the grass.

Austin quickly changed his clothes faster than Clark Kent. He looked much sexier in cowboy jeans than baggy mediocre shorts. He followed Danny into the barn, barely able to keep up.

Danny turned off the mower and sat still for a moment.

“Ooh, I didn’t see you behind me,” said Danny. The lawn is cut and now I’ll weed whack along the fence, so everything looks good.”

Austin touched Danny still sitting on the mower and lowered his head between his legs.  “Let the weed whacking go.” He said, rubbing his face over Danny’s crotch.

“Are you sure?”

Austin never answered him. Instead, he slid Danny off the mower and into his arms.

Danny clung to Austin with his face next to his ear whispering repeatedly, “Hold me daddy – hold me – hold me.”

“Yes baby, I won’t let you go.”

They left the barn and went into the house.  It was one-step followed by another step, right to the bedroom. Austin couldn’t keep his hands off Danny’s smooth chocolate body. He went wild touching his chest, rubbing his legs, and stripping him of his shorts.

Danny was naked in seconds, with his chocolate cock growing like Pinocchio’s nose. He had plump dark balls that messed with Austin’s mind.

They were on the bed with Danny working feverishly getting Austin’s jeans off.  The jeans went quickly on to the floor, and the shirt along with it.

They were kissing and licking each other’s body up one side and down the other.  Two pigs in a blanket; but nothing was further from the truth.

Danny held Austin by his head. “Take me daddy, hold me – hold me. He mumbled over and over.”

Then like an awaking, he said….”Oh Austin, I am sorry, you don’t want me calling you daddy. I am so lonely and mixed up.” He mumbled and mumbled. There was no mistaking how much Danny’s need him.

“Daddy is okay to say and it turns me on. You can call me anything you want. Just give me your body and your love.  In front of others, let’s not talk that way.  Why, let folks think we are a couple of sick pups.”

“That is golden,” agreed Daniel, kissing Austin. “Can I be your baby, or is that too gay since I am a man?” he asked.

“I love you,” admitted Austin.

“I love you more,” said Danny.

“I don’t think that is possible.”

“If we are going to fuck around, let’s do it,” said Danny.

“I’m too big for your little butt. This white cock will hurt you.  Dang, the sight of those smooth black satin cheeks hiding your juicy dark hole is enough to drive me over the edge. What the hell are we doing here anyway?”

“I don’t care if it hurts. Inside me is where you belong,” begged Danny almost in tears. “c’mon. I’m your boy.”

“Ohhh, Geezus, am I crazy, or what?” Austin barely managed to say.

The next few minutes went forward like a time machine. Danny was on the edge of the bed and Austin was standing. Daniel raised his chocolate body backwards, with his legs rising into the air. His sweet black melon butt, he offered to Austin.

There was no foreplay, as one might expect. Austin was too nervous to waste time putting his finger in a place where he wanted his cock to go.

“I’ll get some lube,” he said.

“Nah, try it this way. I came here today already moist. I knew you wanted me,” said Daniel. “However, I am not a ho.” (whore)

“It’s gonna hurt,” Austin reminded him rubbing his cock against his puckered opening.”

“Then I will always remember the time my butt got cherry popped.”

There was no more talking. Austin worked his dick into the little opening that grasped him like a vice. Daniel was moist but not wet. With the look on Danny’s face, he was hurting, but taking it, to please Austin.

“Naw, not this way. I am hurting you and I will never ever hurt you,” mumbled Austin kissing Danny’s leg clamped around his neck.

“It doesn’t hurt,” whispered Danny almost ready to cry.”

“Liar,” look at you!”

Danny lowered his legs from Austin’s neck and wrapped them around his back holding him in a wrestling grasp preventing him from pulling away from him. He wanted what he wanted, and there was no arguing with him.

“Stay where you are, you’re almost in. Just fuck and let me deal with the pain,” cried out Daniel.

That was the final straw for both of them. Austin plowed forcefully into Danny’s body and Danny relaxed. He was inside his lover now, where it was warm and welcoming.  The pain was gone and it felt heavenly beyond description. Austin fucked him sprawled on the bed like a maniac.

“Oh Jesus man, my beautiful boy, this is so fuckin hot,” mumbled Austin. “Holy shit,” he cried out. He didn’t usually talk this way, but these circumstance were far from normal for him.

“I told uh, didn’t I?” Danny said barely able to talk.  He was about to come with Austin massaging the hell out of his prostate.

Then it happened. They shot off together with Austin still ramming the sweaty hole that he knew belonged to him.

“You’re an animal,” said Danny, finally able to speak.

“Yeah…..I know,” replied Austin. “You make me an animal.”

Eventually they were side by side. Dang, that was some honeymoon,” whispered Danny into Austin’s ear and caressing his face at the same time.

“Fuck, you are the best ever! The BEST, do you hear me? ” said Austin.

“I said I was good. Now that you have a chocolate butt to fuck; what’s next.

“Wanna hit the shower?” asked Austin.

“Nope.”

“Really – how come? We should wash this sticky mess off.”

“You can wash it off. I want to keep it inside me for as long as possible. I know I am leaking, but I’ll wipe my ass with my underwear and take it cum stained, home with me.”

“That’s crazy, no it’s nasty,” said Austin. “There is more nutt where that came from. I’ll save it for you.”

Danny did just what he said he was going to do. He got dressed putting on his messy underwear and oozing from his butt. Then he put back on his summer shorts. Besides his shoes, that was all he had to wear. It seemed abnormal to Austin, but intriguing in a warped sort of way.

Austin did the same thing. He skipped the shower and started to stuff his gooey cock back into his jeans when Danny grabbed it and put it into his mouth.

“Ewe. Baby, that has your ass on it.”

“I know. I was there.” He replied licking Austin. It stopped very quickly.

They went onto the porch where Austin took some money from his pocket to pay Danny for cutting the lawn.

“I don’t want it,”

“Oh no, it’s for cutting the lawn, not for sex,”

“Don’t want it.” Danny repeated.

Austin stuck the money, just the same, into the back pocket of his shorts and held the cheeks of his ass once more. Clean or dirty, he loved every inch of Daniel.

Danny dropped his shorts again, like the whore he claimed not to be, pulling down his soiled underwear next.  He backed into Austin, wanted more?”

Austin’s fingers couldn’t work fast enough to get his cock back out. He went into Danny’s butt pushing him against the railing of the porch. He slammed into him like the wild animal that Danny knew he was.

“Love me – love me, cried out Daniel as Austin found the juicy warmth of Daniel’s darkness. He unloaded inside him whatever cum was left. Shaking and trembling, that was it.

This time, Daniel was now really uncomfortable. Juice was running down his legs.  “I am going to take that shower, after all,” he told Austin.  “I better not let Gram see me dirty like this.”

“Absolutely, she will think that I raped you. And we can’t have her thinking something nasty like that.”

“I love you,” he mumbled. Loving Austin mattered.

“I love you more, now go wash your ass,” Austin chucked. He was so happy having Daniel in his life – so very happy.

Austin knew that Danny didn’t have a phone, so he bought him a smart phone as surprise. It cost Daniel nothing and the charges went to Austin’s visa card.

“Naw, I can’t take this. I don’t want you buying me stuff.” said Danny, when Austin gave him the phone.

“You can’t say ‘no’ to a gift.”  We have to share, that what families do,”

“Am I your family?”

“You know you are.”

“Then give me your dick, so I can suck that thing.  Then, we are family.

“I’m drained, you got me off twice,” he snickered, touching his crotch with his hand. “What do you say to that?”

“I’m doing God’s work. How’s that for an answer?”

“Okay, let me go shower first,” smiled Austin. “Work is work.”

“Nope - only joking gotta go. I’ll think about it, all the way home.”

Chapter 5
1   2   3   4

A new level of respect blossomed between them. They were a couple now, spending a great deal of time together.

They saw life moving along at a pace unfamiliar to both of them. They were, (for lack of a better description) two queers, who couldn’t get past being naked. Their desire to be together haunted them daily presenting one situation after another. It bothered Austin not having Daniel living with him and mentioned it often. It seemed overwhelming that anything so simple as living together, turned out to be so difficult to achieve.

Daniel’s grandmother wouldn’t leave her house. Austin begged her to come live with him, so he could be with Danny, but she would have no part of that. Therefore, Danny stayed with his grandmother, but slept with Austin whenever he could, which was many times. She said to Daniel – “Child, you are a product of the times and goin through life with an existence blessed with a person who loves you…..go take care of your man.”

Time passed – a lot of time flushed through their lives changing things and then changing them back.  Austin and Daniel stayed together as a team, behaving like a married couple, year after year, loving each other. Lord, how the time did fly.  Sex cooled, as it does with people, but didn’t disappear completely.

Daniel became an esteemed politician running for the legislature in the state of Mississippi and won on the Republican ticket.

It’s not true that all blacks are Democrats. Nobody cared about parties or titles in Mississippi. They cared about people and who represented them.

When the legislature was in session, Daniel spent his days in Jackson at the capital.  Austin stayed behind with Mother Wicker, baking sweet potato pie and holding down the two forts, they called home.

Sometimes, Mother Wicker would talk about her son Sebastian. It became a popular conversation to pass the time of day.

She had just made tea and brought it into the living room with some sweet potato pie for the two of them. “Do you know that I will be seventy four in April,” she said to Austin.

“Yes, I do know that.”

‘Sebastian has been gone – seems like forever. That boy was only seventeen years old, dying like that. Shame, that’s what it is, a shame.”

“We were both seventeen. We planned on going into the army together, but Sebastian enlisted first and I never followed like we talked about.”

‘Yess – yes, I remember. You boys were always together. Lord, what is wrong with the world. Thank Jesus you were not both killed in that terrible war.” She spoke sadly, shaking her head.

Austin knew it was time to change the subject. Sebastian’s mom had never gotten over losing him and it didn’t take much to start her crying. Even after all these years, Sebastian held the strongest place in her heart.

‘”This pie is the best ever,” said Austin licking his fork.

“Daniel is just like his daddy, don’t you think?”  She continued, still taking about Sebastian.

“Of course!”

“Who do you cherish more, Daniel or Sebastian?” she asked, making Austin feel uncomfortable. There was no right or wrong answer.

“I cherished Sebastian more. He gave us Daniel and I love Daniel more, for being Sebastian’s son. It’s just love, not more,” confessed Austin.

“Oh, that’s right. Forgive a crazy old lady; that was not a fair question.”

“Gosh, was there a question in there someplace,” smiled Austin.

“Mother Wicker smiled, “I wish I had the power to turn back the pages of time,” she said, pouring more tea into Austin’s cup.

Austin took a sip of tea.  "Just as sure as the sun comes up tomorrow, we did our best. Time wasn’t wasted for anybody. It was a bonus.”
